A UNIQUE EVENT

The Mille Miglia was an open-road endurance race which took place in Italy twenty-four times from 1927 to 1957 (thirteen before the war, eleven from 1947).
Like the older Targa Florio and later the Carrera Pan Americana, the MM made Gran Turismo (Grand Touring) sports cars like , Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Maserati and Porsche famous. The race brought out an estimated five million spectators.[1]

Since 1977, the "Mille Miglia" has been reborn as a regularity race for classic and vintage cars. Participation is limited to cars, produced no later than 1957, which had attended (or were registered) to the original race. The route (Brescia-Rome round trip) is similar to that of the original race, maintaining the point of departure / arrival in Viale Venezia in Brescia.

For the last 30 years, Mille Miglia has been bringing together exceptional personalities to the world of sport. Today, the reenactment of the Mille Miglia is an event in a class of its own. Mille Miglia has combined tradition with innovation, and vividly colored that combination with creativity, elegance, beautiful scenery and the Italian way of living. This plethora of rich elements has made the Mille Miglia a symbol of Italian excellence all over the world.

The 2015 edition will take place May 14th to 17th.
