Race 1: It was another excitingdayat the track in Road America with the first of two races in the sixth round of the Ferrari Challenge North America. Emmanuel Anassis took his victory in the Trofeo Pirelli class, turning his luck around after an accident in today's warm-up session. Doug Peterson who fought his way against Anassis, finished in second place and Ryan Ockey from completed the trio on the podium.

Newcomer to the Ferrari Challenge Wei Lu was all smiles today as he finished in first place showcasing a great performance in the Coppa Shell category. Chris Ruud finished today's race in second place, but still leads in the Coppa Shell drivers' standings. Carlos Conde took the third place finish after overtaking Robert Herjavec who suffered from a flat tire in the first lap.

Race 2: Emmanuel Anassis again finished on top of the podium steps. As the fastest qualifier today, Anassis marked the best lap time at 2:11:162 with a top speed of 109.771 mph. The rain delay in the middle of Race 2 forced Doug Peterson to retire, leading to a tight contention for second place between Mexican Ricardo Perez and Canadian Damon Ockey. Ultimately, Perez would finish just ahead of Ockey with a 0.66 second gap.

The Coppa Shell class saw the same finishers as yesterday, with rookie Wei Lu, finishing in first place and fourth position overall. Chris Ruud claimed his second place win with Carlos Conde finishing in third place.

The next round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli takes place fromSeptember 19-21at Watkins Glen International in New York.
