2015 FERRARI CHALLENGE AT SONOMA RACEWAY
Ferrari of San Francisco
Please read carefully

The Ferrari Challenge will come back to Sonoma Raceway on April 24th - 26th.

We will once again allocate track time for Ferrari of San Francisco customers so they can enjoy driving their Ferraris on the track. We will have two run groups for that: one for the novice drivers in slow speed with pace car leading (touring session) and the other one for the more experienced driver who wants to hone his skills a bit - Track Day type of activity (Sport session). This activity will be organized and officiated by Ferrari of San Francisco. On Sunday, we will have one session dedicated to vintage cars. It will be a slow speed session with a pace car.

Historic Car Sessions will be available all weekend, and on Saturday, there will be a Lapping Session dedicated to special cars, such as LaFerrari and Enzo.

Here is the outline of the event:

The customer track activities will be managed for us by Hooked on Driving. All participants of the Touring, Sports and Vintage sessions will need to attend a drivers meeting, have their Ferrari inspected, and sign a liability waiver to receive their wrist band (track pass). No exceptions will be made. You will not be allowed on the track without the wrist band!

Concerning the sport group, they will require a SA 2005 or newer helmet.

A 2000 helmet or newer will be required for the touring session. We will have loaners for the touring session only, but I suggest you bring your own.

The tech inspection can be done at the track but we strongly advise to have it done at our Service facility prior to the weekend (It will give you enough time to fix your car if it does not pass). You may schedule an appointment at (415) 526-2163. Please note that you are not obligated to use our Service facility to fix your car for the track.

The service facility will host a drivers meeting on April 19th and will broadcast the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix. Tech inspections will be performed on this day as well.

2013 BAY AREA TREASURE AWARD DINNER
Honoring George Lucas

Every year the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art presents the highly anticipated Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner. Bay Area Treasure is an annual lifetime achievement award celebration recognizing a Bay Area artist who continually defines and redefines contemporary art. Proceeds from the event support SFMOMA's innovative education programs and celebrated exhibitions.

In 2013, the Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner took place on Thursday, October 24 at the Four Seasons hotel in San Francisco and honored legendary filmmaker George Lucas. An inventor, filmmaker, and philanthropist, Mr. Lucas is one of the most outstanding and internationally renowned media art pioneers.

Bay Area Treasure celebrations began with a launch party on Friday, September 20 at the Yammer headquarters. More than 125 museum supporters, comprised of SFMOMA Trustees, business leaders, sponsors, and tech executives attended this exclusive party with George Lucas.

On October 24th the Bay Area Treasure Dinner began with a reception for sponsors followed by a seated dinner. During dinner guests enjoyed an illuminating conversation with George Lucas and a video retrospective, as well as the presentation of the 2013 Bay Area Treasure Award. The event was attended by 360 guests and raised more than $250,000 for SFMOMA's exhibition and education programs that strengthen communities throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

SFMOMA deeply appreciates Ferrari of San Francisco's generous sponsorship the Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner 2013.
